Occasionally I was able to go into the room and see how everything worked. What new knowledge or skill did you learn in this rotation? I learned how to treat a patient as they came in for a scan. The RT’s (radiologic technologist) also showed me different things and even how to read the basics of some scans. I learned the different reasons for scans and why contrast is used. The best thing that happened on this site was the time i was able to observe a TB (tuberculosis) patient receiving iliac injections.
